Gripfill has for many years been the leading gapfilling adhesive within the Independent building trade. The brief was to produce an innovative on pack promotion to help maintain No 1 position in the market place and to maintain visibility of the brand at point of sale
The Solution
HCL devised and produced an innovative viral online game, mobile phone game and iPhone App. The concept of the game was based on previous advertising campaigns for the popular G Force Gripfill Girls. The game was promoted on 1 million packs of Gripfill and in trade press advertising and editorial support in addition to carefully targeted seeding.
The Result
The promotion was featured on 1 million packs of Gripfill and resulted in a hugely successful sell in to the trade. The campaign achieved 8,000 plays online, 6,000 mobile downloads, 9,000 iPhone App downloads and captured over 2000 opt-in email addresses.
